Ahsan Sheikh
Chief Executive Officer, Global
Ahsan Sheikh is Chief Executive Officer of Edceum for Global. Over the last 20 years, Ahsan has co-founded and successfully led several large organizations in the area of media and IT. Ahsan is someone who can be truly described as a serial entrepreneur. He completed his MBA from LUMS in 1998, and his undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster, USA. Ahsan is also a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society – America’s most prestigious Academic Honor Society for top 5% graduates.
Tayyaba Kashif
Chief Executive Officer, North America
Tayyaba Kashif is an entrepreneur, a volunteer, and certainly an over-achiever in the field of education. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA), from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan, where she won the Gold Medal (Valedictorian Award) for academic excellence for securing the top position in her class. She is currently completing her certification to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with The Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
Shariq Suri
Member, Advisory Board
Shariq Suri is the CFO of Univet North America and has over 20 years of international leadership experience in strategic business planning and financial management roles with Fortune 500 companies. Shariq advises the Edceum team on making fiscally responsible strategic partnerships and long-term business growth plans globally. Shariq is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from Canada, and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) from the UK.
Atif Sarfraz
Member, Advisory Board
Atif Sarfraz is the CEO of Univet North America and is Edceum’s go-to creative business advisor. Atif has decades of leadership experience in global business development and customer and corporate relationship building at top-tier Fortune 500 companies. Atif holds an MBA from the Lahore School of Economics and has been mentoring immigrants to successfully settle in Canada for years. Joining Edceum as an advisor and helping international students achieve their learning and career goals was the ideal next step in pursuing his passion for international education.
Ashraf Mohamed
Country Head for Egypt
Ashraf Mohamed is the Country Head for Egypt Edceum. For more than 22 Years, Ashraf has been working in Media Research where he has held various leadership roles specifically in International Project Management. Having worked in the past for one of the world’s leading Insight and Consultancy organizations, Ashraf has been instrumental in successfully leading and completing large multi-country projects across three continents. This has all been possible because of his all-round core competencies in technical, operational, and managerial areas. A highly committed professional, fantastic team player and an inspiring team leader. Ashraf is a person who operates with utmost integrity and sincerity towards his work, always.
Saad Wasim
Member, Advisory Board
Saad has been working in the Education Sector on senior leadership roles for more than 12 years and is currently the Regional Advisor South Asia for the University of London and the Regional Advisor for the University of Kent for Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia. Saad had also been working as a consultant for In-Country Pakistan and Edceum. Saad is known for his leadership skills and his strong business development ethos.
Dr. Shamyla Ashraf
Member, Advisory Board
Dr. Shamyla Ashraf graduated with honors from the prestigious University of British Columbia’s Doctor of Dental Medicine program, and she is currently a practicing dentist in Ontario. Shamyla is our resident expert and advisor for students wishing to launch their studies and careers in health sciences in North America. Shamyla brings a unique insight into the Canadian medical system, top Canadian health science degree programs, and how international students can successfully prepare to enter the healthcare industry in North America.
Fatima Haider
Member, Advisory Board
Fatima worked in software project management for several years with increasing levels of responsibility, after graduating with an MBA from LUMS, in 1996. She is an accomplished leader with a strong sense of purpose and commitment to education and social responsibility. She demonstrated that by establishing a non-profit organization, Delta Educational Trust focused on public sector education reform in Pakistan. Fatima has also taught at a school while living in the Middle East for over ten years. With her strong track record and commitment in the area of education, she is an extremely valuable asset for the Edceum team as a Member of the Board.
